Why Pick Nintendo?
Why pick Nintendo? That's what my friend asked. I was shocked! He had just asked "Why Nintendo". I held myself back from throwing a tantrum. I simply replied:'Because Nintendo are focused on games, not DVD Players.'
When I got home that night I was wondering what made Nintendo better than the PS2 or the XBox???. I walked to my N64 and began playing The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time (OOT). I was going to find out what truly made Nintendo better than the rest. I took a step onto the beautiful entrance to the Temple of Time. The detail was superve (Don't believe me: Just examine it closly next time you play). I played for a little while. Then it hit me: Nintendo doesn't just make quality games or JUST focus on games or graphics: It focuses on customer satisfaction. I mean: You can play a Nintendo game over and over again, and not get tired of it's brilliance.
PS2 for example: FF6, FF7,FF8, FF9 and FF10 can played once with (even I admit it) great gameplay, but the second time around you play it: it just gets boring, simple as that. Though: I could play Mario 64 over and over again without getting tired.
Just yesterday I got my own JET BLACK GBA (to go with my JET BLACK GCN) and I was playing Golden Sun and one thing that shocked me is how boring it seemed!. I had been reading reviews about it being suberv and THE BEST GBA game ever to grace gods humble door-steps and it seemed boring. Yet, in about 2 hours of Golden Sun gameplay you realise: This is perfect! It starts: not boring (as thought) but: intriging!. The start of the game may seem boring: but see if you can get yourself off it!!!
That is the Nintendo Difference!
Now my friend (PS2 fan-boy, still friend though) argues with the Nintendo Difference when this article lays it all out in front of your eyes!!!
I rest my case as: The Nintendo Difference is what makes the game. Sure PS2 and XBox have great games but they don't have the Nintendo-Difference...Shigeru Myamoto's Difference!!!
