Star Fox Adventures Star Fox Adventures would have to get the award for longest game in the making. Originally a 64 game, SFA has been in development for well over four years. It has been plagued with set backs and delays and then when the GameCube was nearing completion, Rare decided to make it a GameCube title. So it was back to the drawing boards for some serious graphical revamping as well as storyline and gameplay. We still wont see SFA in Australia till November but when it arrives it should be fantastic. After defeating Venom Fox Mcloud visits Dinsaur planet for no apparent reason. There he meets with Krystal and Fox is informed on General Scales, an evil villian with evil intentions. Krystal gives you a magical staff to use on your journey. The staff has many powerful uses and is vital if you intend to stop Scales' evil ways. This is the first adventure for Fox without his ship but he will use it in some levels. Also by your side is a young female triceratops named Tricky. Her uses are varied but she can be used to distract enemies which is a cool feature. General Scales has a meriad of enemies at his disposal so it wont be an easy task. He also has kidnapped the Ptyeridactal princess and it is up to you to save her. All this plus some huge bosses such as a T-Rex and your in for a wild ride. The gameplay mechaniques are simliar to that of Zelda:OoT, use have a targeting system plus automatic jump. There is also magic at your disposal and many items to collect so the game should last a great deal of time. I can't inform you too much on controls ect because I'm am not too sure myself. The graphics have too be seen to be believed, absolutey stunning is an understatement. Rare game's have always set a new standard and a game that has has four years behind it should make other games look mediocre. The level of detail in astounding, Fox even has fur in the cut scenes! The enviroments are lush and enemies, NPCs look great. We in for some visual treats. So what we have is a game made by Rare with the Zelda style gameplay filled with lush visuals and gameplay. There is a chance of multiplayer too so this is a game to look out for. This could be the best game off all time.
