GRAPHICS ![]() Well its pretty nice but its not mind blowing. The music changes when what your doing changes but its still a little lack lustre as to connecting with the game. The actual noise is pretty nice to listen to (accept sounds a little distant to what your actually doing). You'll understand if you play for yourself. ![]() The controls are well set out so it adds to the fun of being the webslinger without getting frustrated. The only thing to get you frustrated is the camera. Every one seems to think its terrible but in actual fact it's not that bad. You control it with the C stick. Up means camera lock so you don't lose your enemies. Down means centre behind Spidey and left and right are look around. You can also do wonderful things like look around whilst being on the roof. The wall crawler's abilities are mostly the same as the past outings. Except now we have the wonderful combo section. Whilst playing you can collect new fighting combos hidden around the level. Meaning that beating the baddies will a lot easier plus it adds some more fun to the game. The baddies include some super villains like vulture and Scorpion (Plus of course the green goblin). Also there are plenty of henchmen and hench-robots to take out as well. Most of the levels are designed around that sort of dungeon scene. You move to an area. Something happens to halt your progress. You fix it. Then move on. Also there are plenty of lovely aerial levels as well. Chasing the baddies is also evident. There are also the boss levels, which confront you with one of the super villains and you have to deplete their health before they deplete yours. Using all of your abilities (and don't expect to progress if you don't). The game has some real eye candy with the streets below all alive and moving. The game presents itself well. There are also the wonderful FMVs that are real animation work. Them and production images (for the movie and the game) can be seen in the gallery once you have unlocked them (or seen them in the game). The major down card is that the game is probably a bit short as it was made in eighteen months so it could come out with the movie. Still I really enjoy it and you should too. Plus you'll keep playing to rack up your bonus points to use at the secrets store. Finish the game on hero or super hero and you'll get a pleasant surprise. The ability to play as the Goblin himself. Complete with glider and bombs and a whole other host of goodies. The game is pretty racy and exiting too. ![]() Its only really flaw. You can go through the one player mode pretty quickly on easy and when changing difficulties there's not really much difference. Mostly just extra bad guys. There are all the training modes to try and get your best times on and there's the secrets store as well, which will keep you interested for a while though. ![]() Well I bought it and I'm not disappointed that much. Whilst I did mention that it doesn't last long I still reckon that most games don't last forever. So go out and buy it if you're a spidey or action fan. I did. ![]()
